On Monday, July 16, University Research Park began construction at 501 Charmany Drive.

The scope of the project will include clearing a significant portion of the site, excavating an area for an underground parking ramp, constructing a new 140,000 square foot office building connected to the existing 501 Charmany Drive building, and eventually installing a new public street that connects Charmany Drive to Whitney Way.

University Research Park has created a masterplan for the area that will begin to implement our strategy of using urban design to create places that promote walking, biking, and attracting retail amenities.

The construction is expected to run from July of 2018 to January of 2020. We are excited about the project, which will help Exact Sciences grow and continue their work to win the war on cancer through early detection, and for the evolution of Research Park.
