Inclusion, the NICE Kitemark and 360Giving’s journey

Inclusion is one of 360Giving’s core values and is integral to our work - but not a value that we have talked about much externally. In our sector we talk about inclusion a lot, but what does it mean in an organisation like 360Giving?

This
National Inclusion Week we are celebrating achieving the NICE Kitemark award for Neurodiversity Inclusivity Confident Employers.

In our latest blog we share 360Giving’s inclusion journey, and what we have learnt along the way.  It isn’t about the big initiatives and gestures, but the small considerations and behaviours that make inclusion an everyday reality.

The NICE Kitemark

360Giving is proud to have been awarded the NICE Kitemark for Neurodiversity Inclusivity Confident Employers.

The NICE Kitemark is awarded to signify a high standard of achievement by employers who embrace, embody and lead the way in supporting individuals with neurodivergent profiles and who have embedded inclusivity into their work.

Working towards the Kitemark is a great opportunity to explore elements of your own organisational culture, behaviours and processes that you might not have considered before, and advance your own inclusion work.

For more information about how you can start your own journey towards achieving the kitemark, visit the Positive Psychology and Autism Centre website.
