360Giving is looking for a Data Support Lead to provide data training, consultancy services, analysis projects and one to one support. This is a diverse and interesting role for a good team-player who is conscientious and well organised, with excellent communication skills. Few places remaining for our in-person data training

There are limited places remaining for our brand new interactive data training, Data in a Day, which is taking place on 31st January.

Over the course of the day we’ll guide you through the data analysis pipeline, showing you why and how to tackle each stage – from defining your research question, to presenting your findings.

Data in a Day is designed for those who already work with grants data but want to further enhance their skills. This training will take your confidence and knowledge using grants data to the next level, so you can return to your organisations and start to unleash its impact in your daily work.

New location feature in GrantNav

GrantNav has been upgraded to include “Beneficiary location” data (the place where the funded activity is taking place) as well as “Recipient Location” data (the place where the Recipient Organisation is based) published by funders using the 360Giving Data Standard. This means when “Beneficiary Location” is provided, the GrantNav filters provide a more accurate way to answer the question ‘Where do grants go?’.

We have updated GrantNav so that the Location search bar and filters are now able to use either “Beneficiary” or “Recipient Location” data shared by publishers, with priority given to “Beneficiary Location” where both are available.
