Rice County Habitat for Humanity
365 Days of Prayer
We are preparing for our Faith Build in 2021 in many ways:  build plans, qualifying families, raising money, signing up volunteers but most importantly, we need to take time to PRAY!  Without the foundation of WHY we do what we do, our efforts won't be as meaningful and transformational.

From December 1, 2020 - November 30, 2021, join us through prayer HERE.  We are asking 365 different people to sign up to intentionally pray for us for 365 days - that's the lead up to our Faith Build and through the build.

You can also sign up to be on a crew by filling out THIS FORM.
THANKS Thrivent Faith Builds
We are very excited that Thrivent is partnering with Rice County Habitat for Humanity with our Faith Build 2021 by providing $115,000!  This grant will leverage our local generosity and we couldn't be more grateful!
THANKS Wells Fargo!
Wells Fargo Foundation has awarded Rice County Habitat for Humanity with a $15,000 grant to build an affordable home in Faribault.  The funding is part of an $8.1million donation to Habitat for Humanity International for capacity building and direct mission support to build, renovate and repair more than 350 affordable homes across the United States. The grant is provided through Wells Fargo Builds℠and is part of the Wells Fargo Foundation’s $1 billion philanthropic commitment to create more housing affordability solutions by 2025. Wells Fargo Builds provides philanthropic financial assistance from the Wells Fargo Foundation to support the construction, renovation, painting or repairing of homes with low-to-moderate income households. In 2019 alone, Wells Fargo employees volunteered more than 1.9 million hours of service to strengthen their communities, including building, repairing, and improving 674 homes across the U.S. with several organizations through Wells Fargo Builds. "We are grateful for the renewed support from Wells Fargo to build in our community.  We look forward to a day after COVID when we can have Wells Fargo employees on site." said Dayna Norvold, Executive Director with Rice County Habitat for Humanity.
IBEW, well Jeff, does it again!

Jeff Anderson demonstrated his commitment to Habitat when he wired the house at 309 23rd Street in Faribault.  We can't thank Jeff and his team with IBEW enough for all of their support and commitment to affordable housing in Rice County!

Uponor, thanks for the product!
Thanks to the generous folks at Uponor our house at 309 23rd Street in Faribault will have in floor heat!  Uponor donated the tubing (in addition to plumbing products) for this house.  They also provided the design!  The Rindahl Family will enjoy warm floors on their toes!  We just wish it was ready NOW (since it's SNOWING IN OCTOBER!!).
Habitat Family News

Look what three years can do!  Damarion and his family moved into their Habitat home just 3 years ago - and look how much he's grown up!  He's playing football with the Northfield Raiders and loving it!
