Next week it's LIGHTNING TALKS.

Next week is a chance to give public speaking a go, in a friendly and welcoming environment.

We're going to be meeting at 6:30 and Rob will be kicking things off with the PHPNews around 7. The plan is to have 3 talks, maximum of 15 minutes on anything you're passionate about!

We'll be accepting talk submissions throughout the week and trying to get the line-up arranged ahead of time so get in touch now if you want to give it a go! Visit for information on how to submit.

All are welcome so don't be shy, if you've never made it out to one of the meetups before this is a great opportunity to get to know some of the developer community in Aberdeen.

Also we are saying goodbye to EventBrite for managing the meetups, we are moving solely to Open Tech Calendar (and our website). If you've not checked out the OTC project there is a handy new tech in Scotland site displaying information about tech events in Scotland (by city)
