ICRMP Corner

Harassment in the workplace is all over the news – following are actions you should take to protect your employees from harassment and your city from liability.  At a minimum you should provide: 
 
Policy – have a clear up to date anti-harassment policy. www.ICRMP.org has sample policies you can use          
 
Training –  Regular training for all employees, conducted by qualified, live, interactive trainers.
             
Allegations must be taken seriously. Supervisors need to know what constitutes a report of harassment and what to do when harassment has been reported or witnessed. Investigations by trained unbiased person is nearly always needed.
