It is a special privilege to have been re-elected as President following our AGM on 24 November 2015. I would like to thank the outgoing Executive Committee members Supriya Eliezer, Katie Malyon, Kathryn Grimshaw and Meena Mariadassou for their valued contributions to WLANSW in 2015. Our Christmas Drinks following the AGM was a wonderful celebration of the achievements for the year. The Executive Committee will be meeting in the New Year for a Strategic Planning meeting where we will be focusing on how we can continue to bring value to our members and friends as the voice of women in the NSW legal profession. The Executive Committee thanks you for your support during 2015 and wishes you a safe and happy festive season. Our office will be closed from 23rd December and will reopen 18th January.

The new look Women in NSW 2015 is now available at www.women.nsw.gov.au. Over the last four years the report series has charted progress towards gender equality in New South Wales.

Women in NSW 2015 provides you with findings on a range of social and economic outcomes for women across the areas of health and wellbeing, education and learning, work and financial security, leadership and representation, and safety and justice. It is the only report of its kind for women in Australia. For the first time, the complete indicator data set is also available in the accompanying NSW Women’s Report Card 2015.
