CEO's Message to Members

What a brilliant first three weeks! I wanted to take some time to touch base directly with our members. I have felt very welcome by you all. I have been lucky enough to meet and speak at length with many leaders in the Agritech ecosystem, our key partners and Government Ministers and their advisors. We are currently deep in strategic planning and will release our strategy and 2022 Calendar for members SOON! Our 2022 Calendar of flagship events and member opportunities and discounts is really starting to take shape.

We are aiming to establish some key policy focus areas and subcommittees that enable members to shape the direction of the Association and Agritech industry. Keep an eye out for the expression of interest in the coming weeks.

Many of you have been sharing with me incredible innovation and business growth stories. We would also love to share your stories across our channels and with third parties, with your permission. The ABC contacted us wanting to find out what was ‘NEW in agritech.’ We would love to be able to share your approved business stories with them. Please email your elevator pitch to and we will get on with promoting you.

We will be launching our flagship program ‘Australian Agritech Awards’ at evokeAG in 2022. You heard it here first! Thank you Agrifutures and evokeAG for partnering with us on this event. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Please contact me on for an early discussion.

We are currently looking into having a members meeting during evokeAG. Stay tuned! Our New Zealand counterparts are also working with us on an event during evokeAG. See you in Sydney! Get your evokeAG tickets here:

We are speaking directly to Government about what is needed for a successful future for the Australian Agritech Industry at a domestic and international level. The advocacy and policy landscape is complicated and dynamic. We have some key policy deliverables under development including, a blueprint for Adoption of Agritech and White Paper for the Future of the Australian Agritech Industry.

Whilst all levels of Government have been very supportive of our goals and vision, there is much work to do and your support will be needed.

By supporting us you give profile to and support innovations from an emerging and essential industry. Agritech is fundamental to the growth and transformation of Australia’s agricultural sector, an incredible export opportunity, and it will power sustainability, drought resilience and the transition to a low carbon economy.

During our events and within the SLACK community the Agritech ecosystem can interact, forge partnerships, share learnings and amplify its voice across Australia and showcase its ingenuity to the world. Please encourage other Agritech businesses to join and connect with this community. Email to set up an introductory chat with potential members at

Why not get one of your key customers to join? Our members want to see more customers, farmers and those using Agritech right across the supply chain engaging in our membership community. Membership details are here:

Make sure you are connected in our SLACK channel, online community. I am all trained up – so drop me a line if you need some help navigating it. Click HERE. You may find your next business partner or collaboration opportunity in our SLACK channel.

Warm regards,
Tracey Martin
