Celebrating Childbirth Survival International—CSI's Global and Local Impact

Theme: Advancing Maternal Health Equity by Investing in Nurses and Midwives

Friday, April 3, 2020 at Delta Hotels by Marriott,  5100 Falls Rd, Baltimore, Maryland 21210
Dear CSI Friends, Partners, and Donors:

Did you know the World Health Organization declared 2020 the Year of the Nurse and the Midwife? Childbirth Survival International (CSI), a proud and active member of the World Health Organization Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health strongly advocates for nurses and midwives—the fist responders for pregnant women, newborns, and children in many communities where we work closely with midwives and nurses.

Please join us on
Friday April 3, 2020 in Baltimore, Maryland for an action-oriented conversation and be inspired by our keynote speaker, Dr. John Brothers, President, T. Rowe Price Foundation and T. Rowe Price Program for Charitable Giving. We will recognize donors and generous individuals who have made CSI's work possible to impact lives of pregnant women, newborns, children under five years old, adolescents, and youth. Ms. Kaisi-Katule will be our MC for the evening and DJ Luke Joe will keep the atmosphere filled with positive energy. The agenda includes entertainment by Baltimore-based Nepalis artists (you will find only in Baltimore), dinner, raffle prizes, and connecting with like-minded philanthropists, advocates, leaders, game-changers, and champions for impact. RSVP via Eventbrite, Share with your network of humanitarian champions. We hope you will join us!

Childbirth Survival International (CSI)'s FY2020+ agenda will build on seven years of a successful track record of impact and:

(1) Expand CSI's impactful interventions in some of the world's most isolated communities with high disparities, poverty, and poor health indicators;
(2) Strengthen collaborations and partnerships that align with CSI's intentional efforts to move the needle towards achieving the Developmental Agenda 2030;
(3) Contribute to research, implementation, conversations, and policies at the local, national, and global level to support progressive agendas and sustainable impact.

CSI's roots in underserved communities run deep—since 2013—and we are committed to continue to impact lives through strategic collaborations, community engagement, innovative efforts, visionary leadership, and sharing results with stakeholders. We welcome you to view CSI's calendar of #CSIImpactingLives because #CSICares
