NEW CONNECTED CLASSROOMS that provide efficient state-wide training for clients and SVdP Georgia volunteers
NEW JOBS CENTER that provides those we serve with the opportunity to pursue better-paying jobs and advance their careers and so that they can achieve sustainable financial security
"I was searching for a new volunteer opportunity to help those in need after not being able to do much during the pandemic; The St. Vincent de Paul website was first on my list, and the Mission and Vision statements were effective in convincing me that this was the right volunteer opportunity, not to mention the work SVdP does has an immediate and positive impact on families.
The smiles on the children's faces when making a delivery and knowing that this simple act is making a difference for these families is what keeps me coming back! Plus I enjoy working with the great staff (Elizabeth, Josephine, and Anterior) at St. Vincent de Paul and appreciate their sense of mission in helping others."
I was looking to fulfill hours and St. Vincent de Paul Georgia was in my community. My favorite part about volunteering in their community pantry is trying to make it a beautiful space where our guests may shop, have fun, and memorable
experiences.
What keeps me coming back is knowing that, in my own way, I am making the lives of others a little better and Ms. Josephine makes me feel appreciated for my constant organization.
