For those of you who just joined us. WELCOME! You'll find a recap of the last few weeks' challenges at the end of this email.
This week, I thought that you were ready for another DIY.
ZWswitchallenge #4 - Make your own cleaning products
We've all seen on the news that some mainstream cleaning products are full of chemicals and doing more harm than good to our homes. So it's high time we ditch the toxics and make our own!
As you see on the picture above, I like to keep things pretty minimal in my laundry room: I use castille soap to do the washing up and I use baking soda if something needs to be soaked or scrubbed.
And then I clean the house with the simplest cleaner, which I mix and then pour into a spray bottle (at the top right of the picture).
Here's my non-toxic cleaner recipe:
1 part white vinegar
4 parts water
I know you're disappointed and wanted something more challenging. But trust my motto:
simpler + greener = happier
There's not need to make things harder than they should, and there's plenty more challenges ahead (I want to try and make my own laundry detergent some day).
Also, contrarily to popular belief, the smell of bleach is not the smell of clean. Your house should have no strong smell, good or bad. With this product, a light smell of white vinegar might fill your house for a couple minutes and then disappear. But feel free to soak citrus in your concoctions or add essential oils to add some scent. Make the recipe yours!
Please share pictures of your weekly challenge with us on social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook,etc.). And don't forget to use #ZWswitchallenge so we can all follow each other's progress.
See you next week!

If you want to invite your friends, please do so. The more we are, the merrier! Each individual challenge can be achieved on its own, so anyone can enter the challenge at any time, there’s no need to start from the beginning.
