Some Handy Tips -

If you are having difficulty threading your sewing needle, wet the eye of the needle slightly instead of the thread. It works!

Did you know that needle eyes are punched in by a machine, so thread will always go through the eye easier from the side the eye was made. Try turning the needle around if you are having trouble threading.

Hold a piece of white paper behind the eye of the needle to make it easier to see the hole. This works for hand and machine sewing needles.

Monofilament thread can be difficult to see. Mark the tip of the thread with permanent marker and it will be much easier to thread.

Self threading needles have a special opening at the top of the needle that "locks" the thread into place. Also great for stitching thread ends on quilts.
