After so much time apart over the past two years, church retreats are a great way to reconnect and deepen the fellowship of your congregation. Both weekend and weekday stays are available. Learn more about booking your retreat or event at Pyoca.

Summer Staff Spotlight: Jerome Zirnheld, Craft Coordinator
Hello! My name is Jerome Zirnheld and I am honored to be the Craft Coordinator for the 2022 Summer Season! This summer all of the campers had the opportunity to work with bisqueware (pottery). The junior and senior high campers painted mugs, whereas our younger campers painted crosses (left).
So far, every camper has participated in this new craft and it has proved to be a big hit! A special thank you to Nancy Peterson for originally donating our camp kiln.

During free time, the older campers were also able to make items out of leather. The leathercraft allowed campers to stamp, lace, and use a variety of tools, ranging from mallets, to knives, and a book.
During Transform week, the Transform campers were asked to give a gift to a fellow camper for their Christmas gift exchange. Many of them made leather keychains or bracelets. A couple of campers even made wallets!
I have greatly enjoyed working in the Craft Cabin this summer and helping make memories for all of our campers.

How You Can Support Camp: Pass It On
Pass It On. Like the beloved campfire song, we know that in order to pass on the magic of camp to the next generation, we need the support of friends of camp and previous generations who have been transformed by this ministry.
There are a number of ways to support our ministry, including: donations to our Scholarship and Annual Funds, volunteer opportunities, in-kind gifts through our Amazon Wish List, and more.
Want to learn more about what is happening at Pyoca? We encourage you to follow, like, and subscribe to our Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok pages where you can keep up with the latest information on all things camp.
NEW: Follow our LinkedIn page to see all that's going on at camp and connect with other camper and staff alumni.
