Notice of Meeting for the Oregon Public Defense Services Commission
The Oregon Public Defense Services Commission invites you to join their public meeting on Thursday, September 1, 2022 beginning at 2:00 PM PT. The meeting will be held virtually via the Microsoft Teams Live Event platform.
An executive session will be held first at approximately 2:05 PM and last for approximately 30 minutes. It is called pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(f) so that the Commission can review and discuss confidential legal advice from the Commission’s legal counsel. The executive session is closed to the public, but representatives of the news media and designated staff shall be allowed to attend the executive session. Representatives of the news media are specifically directed not to report on or otherwise disclose any of the deliberations or anything said about these subjects during the executive session, except to state the general subject of the session as previously announced. Directly afterwards, the Commission will convene in open session to discuss the remainder of agenda, to which the public is welcome to attend.
There will be designated time during the meeting for public comment. If you are interested in providing verbal public comment to the PDSC, please email your interest to opds.info@opds.state.or.us. Please include your full name, organization/entity name, email, phone number. Each guest will be given up to 3-minutes to share comments. There will continue to be written Q&A available via the Microsoft Teams Live Event throughout the duration of the public meeting for all guests. Deadline to submit interest is 5:00 PM PT Wednesday, August 31, 2022.
