Public Defense Community and Interested Stakeholders:
OPDS and PDSC would like to hear more from our community on concepts to attract more public defense providers, keep the ones we have, and provide quality defense to people who need court appointed counsel. To those ends we want feedback on how to best and most effectively spend the $4 million the agency believes is available within our current budget. We have set up a meeting time for OPDS staff and Commissioners to hear from you and further discuss and flesh out various ideas. We will provide an agenda in advance of the meeting to frame the discussion.
