Hi <<First Name>>,

Reminder to our faithful COVID Zoom Friday noon collaborators!

Our weekly Friday Zoom has changed to fortnightly.  There was no ST Zoom gathering last Friday.

We are including much more facilitation and content creation from participants---not just from ST Drivers.

If you have a burning desire to facilitate the next session on this Friday, 27 November at 12:30, let us know via admin@startuptablelands.org and you could nab that first slot!

Hey, maybe we could do a session on choosing a new name for our Zoom group?!?!?

Nothing brings out the ability to practice collaborative behaviours like a hot discussion topic---names often bring up lots of triggers!  Might be a good practice session with an outcome at the end?

Our 13 November Zoom was ably guided by Penny Soper.  The storytelling session was compelling.  Attendees clearly enjoyed the opportunity to tell their own stories.  It also gave us a giant opportunity to practice listening skills.  If you are anything like the writer, your own stories are far more interesting than anyone else’s (narcissism or just human?)!

Christine will be missing from our Friday Zoom this week as she is speaking at the Innovate Queensland virtual Commercialisation & Growth Workshop for businesses on Friday 27th at 1pm.

In our fast-moving global economy, entrepreneurs and business leaders need to find new ways to adapt during economic downturns, challenge the status quo, develop innovative solutions and detect new growth opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.

In this workshop, you’ll hear from local Queensland innovation representative, Christine Doan from Startup Tablelands, on emerging business opportunities and where you can find support specific to your region and across the state.

You’ll then be connected with successful high-growth business leader, Rob Asker from Cyclevision, to discuss key learnings and insights on how they successfully started and scaled their business, built connections, and fostered new opportunities.

Finally, a globally recognised innovation and commercialisation expert, Dr Lewe Atkinson, will then walk through a range of proven methods based on innovative thinking and entrepreneurial practices that can help you create market value, enhance performance and improve speed-to-market.
