On personal sustainability – Quickest route to happiness may be to do nothing

On social sustainability – 200 years more of inequality 
"It is going to take another 200 years before the world reaches equality between the sexes. That was the disheartening conclusion from a new report from The World Economic Forum. There is only one upside – 200 years is a long time, meaning that there are still ways to make this sad prediction not come true. So, as this is the time of year to make promises for the future, I am going to make 2019 the year where I transform opinions into actions to make a change for the better. I keep my fingers crossed that politicians and other decision-makers will do the same!"

"Patagonias founder Yvon Chuinard recently informed employees that the company's new mission is to save our home planet. This decision will impact every aspect of Patagonias business the coming years. Everything from who they are recruiting (yes it's cool to be a surfer but are you also trying to get plastics out of the ocean?) to what areas they should be putting money into. An interesting and inspiring read on how all humans need to face the alarming climate crisis and start acting accordingly."
