Significance: In order to execute our sales strategy, The Lit. Bar will adopt a point-of-sale (POS)/inventory management system designed just for booksellers. POS equipment (e.g. computers, registers, and scanners) and software integrate with the systems of our book distributors and subscription services. Some of its features include tools for managing special orders, purchase orders, receiving, vendor credits, gift cards, frequent buyer clubs, and a module to fully support our bar and gift sales.
Us "BookTenders" will be trained on how to use the POS to close sales as well as make meaningful conclusions from the data queued from its reporting module. This allows us to only stock what YOU want on our shelves, at the quantities you need them, when you need them, and offer nothing but the best customer service and rewards.
