The knowing Krishnamurti is referring to is not intellectual. It is intuitive. You can "know" a lot of things intellectually and still be unhappy, unaware, and immature. Intuitive knowing comes from higher awareness, inner strength, and self-certainty. It provides the ability to live life powerfully and effectively, which is the source of true joy, love, and satisfaction.
Unawareness results in pain. Intuitive knowing is the antidote.

Serenity, Power, and Freedom
Learn how to create within yourself:
Inner Peace that keeps you from feeling upset and disturbed by challenging people and situations,
Personal Power that allows you to overcome life’s obstacles and move forward to new and greater levels,
Freedom to choose how to live your life instead of getting trapped in dead-end jobs, relationships, routines, and situations.
