Celebrating Success
Thank you to everyone who came to our 36th Annual Meeting Celebration on June 9! We loved celebrating the past year with all of you. Throughout the morning, we heard an illuminating keynote from Chancellor Juan Salgado of City Colleges of Chicago, celebrated our FFTI certification graduates, awarded the Betty J. Willhoite award, and enjoyed incredible spoken word performances from Jordan Dxtr Holmes and Antwon Funches. To look back on all the work we've done together this past year, check out our 2017 Year in Review video. And don't forget to look for photos from the meeting on our Facebook page. Thanks again for helping us celebrate the past year, and for your continued support! If you didn’t get the chance to donate at the meeting and would like to support us, click here.
Special thanks to our sponsors: UPS, Winzeler Gear, LeadersUp, Central States SER, Chicago Center for Arts & Technology, Elevate Energy, Net-Telligence Group, National Able Network, Inc., and Robert R. McCormick Foundation.
Building Expertise
Our Frontline Focus Training Institute just released its FY2018 course catalog: click on the photo to the right to check out this year's offerings. We added a few exciting new courses this year, including Asset-based Coaching and Group Facilitation: Key Techniques for Effective Practice.

Additionally, CJC's Frontline Focus Training Institute, in partnership with Alison Dickson of the School of Labor and Employment Relations at the University of Illinois, is excited to release the recently updated Workers’ Rights for Workforce Development Curriculum, 2nd edition. Through this curriculum, job developers can arm job seekers with the most up-to-date information on their workplace rights - including new wage and hour laws, timely workforce protections for immigrant and refugee populations, and much more!

Additionally, coming up on July 20th & 27th, Frontline Focus will be offering a train-the-trainer course on this curriculum, facilitated by current practitioners from the workforce field.
