Free Georgian Wine Tasting

Friday, Tomorrow, March 6th from 5:00-8:00pm

Come escape the snow and drink some free wine with us tomorrow. This past Wednesday the Washington Post Food section featured food and wine from Georgia (the country not the state) and they asked "Is Georgian Cuisine the Next Big Thing? We Hope So!"

If you have ever shopped at Batch 13 (we know you have that's why you are on this list) you know that we love Georgian wines. We are proud to be close partners with the Georgian Wine House importers featured in the article and we have invited them to do a tasting of the wines featured in the Post article.

You need to grab a friend and come try these rare and special wines.  Share the love and forward this email to a friend

Featured Wines for Tasting - All 10% OFF

Orgo Rkatsiteli 2012

Hand made Natural "Orange" wine made from old vines in qvevri, large clay jars. Notes of dried apricot, raisins, sweet spices, dried flowers and walnuts are followed by a full-bodied wine with grip and firm tannin. This white drinks more like a red than any white you are used too.

Natural wine made from 80 year old vines in qvevri. Powerful and elegant. Aromas of sour cherry, black currant and plum are followed with notes of chocolate and spice. Warm tannin accompanied by a layered finish round out this unique Saperavi. Great aging-potential.
