President’s Message:
Well, we made it through our 42nd year. In 2021, we increased our membership, art sales, total donations to local charities, and improved our bottom line; despite covid’s persistent shadow. As we wind down our seventh successful ornament sale, all of you deserve a round of applause; and drinks. I am gratified that so many of you contributed so much. Thank You All!
The emailed on-line ballots will be counted through Tuesday. As of 12/12, forty members have voiced their confidence in the nominated officers. I am proud to announce our new twelve-member 2022 Guild Board consisting of a great mix of experienced and new members:

Special thanks go out to dedicated members who helped with the Art Gallery, AIP, Alternative Art Shows, ‘Art for Good’ fundraiser’, annual members dinner (Chris Banks), newsletter (Joan Carroll), bank shows, artists demos, Guild accessories (Martha Kempe) and ornament sale. My sincere thanks go out to all of you who volunteered and supported our community. We would not be here if not for you.
Holiday Cheers to Your and Family

Annual Ornament Sale:
Our goal this year was to create and sell at least 200 ornaments. And, thanks to you, we met our goal. With one more weekend of sales, Katherine Vacca reports total sales of 200+ ornaments; including 82 during the Friday Dec 3rd Harwich Port Holiday Stroll. The Guild Board met on December 6th and decided to write $1000 checks to two local children’s charities: The Children’s Fund and Harwich Children’s Center. “Art and Community”
Guild Dues Due Now:
Before you lock into holiday mode, remember to send in your 2022 Annual Dues along with a 2022 Membership Application: New & Existing Member Application. Existing members are asked to do this to assist Membership learn how best to serve you. Dues amounts are: $35 Artists, $25 Associate.
Next General Meeting is Saturday, Jan 22nd, 10am to noon in the Multi-purpose Room in the Harwich Community Center, 100 Oak Street, Harwich MA 20645. Our demonstration artist is: Ellen Davies
