We're trying something new this week! This crowd-sourced double shot of content greatness come to us from the Steyer Slack channels, where our team has been known to unearth some true gems.
Consider it a peek behind the curtain or a window on the water cooler. Enjoy:
First up is For All Mankind, an Apple TV+ science fiction series now in its second season. The show revisits history to imagine a space race that ramps up after a Soviet cosmonaut becomes the first human to walk on the moon. Fictional characters complement historical nods to real people, like President Nixon, Neil Armstrong, and Buzz Aldrin. As Steyer CEO, Kate Walton, says: "the alternate history series is especially suited to those who like a good dose of domestic drama in their space stories."
Music has been making its way into our channels more and more lately, whether that means nostalgic throwbacks or tunes to help get us up and at 'em on any given morning—or afternoon! In a joyful celebration of the changing seasons, Steyer graphic designer, Anna Tatistcheff, recommended this song by indie pop band, MisterWives: "This has been my go-to pump up song for the past few weeks... Superbloom, y'all!"
Foam from our last Doppio: Linguistic geography and a Béla Fleck and Abigail Washburn banjo duet.
