Hello, friends!

I've always loved how Earth Day signals an unofficial start of spring, as new life pushes its way up through the dirt and reminds us of the cyclical nature of things.

Thanks to Steyer project manager, Jen Carlston, this week's double shot of content greatness reminds us to appreciate that very dirt and trains us to do the right thing in our brief time on this bright planet. Jen writes:

It's April, and that means Earth Day is just around the corner. It's also the perfect time to share with you one of my favorite publications, Earthweek: Diary of a Changing World. Each week, Steve Newman reports on fascinating happenings in Earth's natural history. One recent article shared that feeding beef cattle a small amount of red seaweed each day has the potential to reduce their production of methane, a greenhouse gas, by up to 80%! You can check out the last 6 months of Earthweek in the site's archives.

In his course, "Justice: What's the Right Thing to Do?", Professor Michael Sandel explores tough moral and political philosophical questions in an engaging and humorous way. The scenarios will exercise your critical thinking skills and have you questioning your own beliefs and justifications. Bonus: it's one of over 100 free online classes offered by Harvard University.

Doppio is a weekly missive from Steyer Content, originated by Katelyn Reilly, Steyer's Chief Operating Officer. This cup brims forth with two concentrated shots of content greatness; we’ll never use it to sell you anything, including Steyer’s services. Doppio exists purely to connect content people with content, in a time when it’s incredibly easy to forget why we do what we do.
