Are things starting to warm up where you are? As the fresh spring air starts to roll in, many of us are beginning to realize just how long we've been holding our breath. Exhale, poke around in these content gems, and enjoy your weekend.
This week's double shot of content greatness comes to us from Steyer consultant and client services manager, Nicole Shelton. She writes:
I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a huge fan of Diana Gabaldon's Outlander novels. In the historical fiction series, a 20th-century nurse time travels to 18th-century Scotland and it includes all sorts of adventure and romance. Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham is a documentary starring two stars from the television series based on the Outlander books. Sam and Graham bring you along for their van ride through the Scottish countryside as they experience all the beauty and culture that Scotland has to offer. Until we can travel again, I will enjoy living vicariously through their adventures.
I happened upon Found Magazine many years ago and immediately got sucked into their treasure trove of items. As the name suggests, the site houses all types of found items, from grocery lists to love letters and camera memory cards to recipes for kangaroo stew. They have it all. It makes me wonder about my own lost things and how they might be perceived by others. It also makes me want to pick up every last scrap of discarded paper I see for one small glimpse into a stranger's life.
