Hello, friends!

I love when the Steyer team asks me if a piece of content is too weird for Doppio. Isn't it interesting, what tickles us these days? What gets us through? We're all navigating a newly drawn line between the personal and the professional lately, and I say sharing the content we actually consume in our day to day lives as content people is a fine step in that dance.

This week's double shot of content greatness comes to us from Steyer marketing writer, Kathie Holsenbeck. She writes:

Feel like having a read on the weird side? I definitely do after all these long months of entertaining myself online during the pandemic. Obviously, exploring weirdness on the internet calls for rationality and prudence, or the rabbit holes can get pretty scary. So for interesting weirdness placed within a factual context about things you'd never imagine, I recommend OK Whatever. The alt news site offers a light take on some weird things that can occur, apparently, like What Happens If You Drink Sunscreen? Enjoy!

Editor's Note: The self-identified "naughty" section of OK Whatever is NSFW for certain professional environments or anyone back in an office these days.

If you're a content person you're likely familiar with WeTransfer, the popular service for sending really large files. But you may not have heard of their blog, WePresent. It's an ideal example of what a company blog can be when done right, abounding with artful graphics and thoughtful descriptions of creativity from around the world. I especially loved their profile of Italian photographer Maïmouna Guerresi—Humanity and Nature are Interconnected—I hope you do too.

Doppio is a weekly missive from Steyer Content, originated by Katelyn Reilly, Steyer's Chief Operating Officer. This cup brims forth with two concentrated shots of content greatness; we’ll never use it to sell you anything, including Steyer’s services. Doppio exists purely to connect content people with content, in a time when it’s incredibly easy to forget why we do what we do.
