Accessible Information Standard - Have Your Say:

The Accessible Information Standard (SCCI1605 Accessible Information) sets out requirements for organisations to identify, record, flag, share and meet the information and communication needs of people with a disability, impairment or sensory loss.

All organisations that provide NHS care and / or publicly-funded adult social care must follow the Standard in full from 1st August 2016 onwards.

In early 2017, NHS England is reviewing the Standard to assess the impact and to ensure that it is ‘fit for purpose’. As part of the review we are inviting views via three surveys aimed at different groups: All of the surveys are available from -
Please take the time to have your say before the deadline of 10 March 2017.
If you have any queries please contact Patients, service users, carers and members of the public can also call 0300 311 22 33.

Improving Community Facilities and Services - Have Your Say:

Cambridge City Council is asking for the views of local people on its draft proposals for an ambitious vision for council-owned community facilities and the services they provide.

The vision, based on evidence of where facilities are most needed across the city, informs proposed changes to seven out of its eight community centres. In addition, a number of gaps have been identified where services cannot be accessed easily by residents who most need them.

The survey can be accessed by following this link.

In addition the Council will be running several open sessions throughout March and April for the public to find out more about the proposals.
