KCLS has cleared all late fines from accounts. This new initiative, A Fresh Start for All,offers a one-time waiver. It gives library users a "fresh start" before the Library System resumes charging late fines.
Lost fees are different from late fines. If library materials are more than 30 days overdue, they are considered lost. A Fresh Start for All will not apply to these fees.
