Dear Covenanters,
Did you know one out of five unchurched people report they would be interested in attending church if a friend invited them? And 40 percent of unchurched young adults say they talk about faith matters with friends and family during a typical week. Where are those conversations taking place? In the context of close relationships!
CBE is a wonderful opportunity to be “mission friends” to our friends outside the church. As you begin to prepare for CBE, I encourage you to pray for an unchurched friend or family member and to invite them to participate with you. Take the next few months to invest in deepening those relationships—hang out and have fun, serve your community together, and swap stories. Make and Deepen Disciples will be joining you in prayer that your friend or family member will say yes to your invitation and take steps toward faith in Christ at CBE.
