Ministry to our Families
"Ministry" is from the Greek word diakoneo, meaning "to serve" or douleuo, meaning "to serve as a slave." In the New Testament, ministry is seen as service to God and to other people in His name.  The Adult Day Program is just one of the many ministries of Mount of Olives Lutheran Church.

“Connections between generations are essential for the mental health and stability of a nation." - Margaret Mead

There is mounting evidence of the importance of socialization for seniors, and that cross-generational socialization is good for brain health and that it may lower the risk of dementia and other chronic diseases in seniors. It may slow the aging process and promote better health in our senior years. It can promote healthy longevity by increasing physical, mental, and creative activity.

Robert H. Lange Preschool opened its doors to the community on January 4th 1967.

Originally named “The La Paz Preschool”, it was the first preschool opened in Mission Viejo, alongside Mount of Olives Lutheran Church, the first church in the community.

Mission: To know Christ and make Him known!
Vision: Our vision is to ensure that each student develops to his or her fullest potential by creating a play based environment balanced with pre-academic surroundings. Robert H. Lange Preschool will celebrate and honor the student's diversity of gifts, abilities, and background to build a more just and sustainable world without regard to race, religion, national origin or ancestry.
