Stay tuned for the official ticket invite to the 30th Anniversary Celebration! Scheduled at 6 p.m. on September 15, this is your opportunity to savor international cuisine, libations and music while exploring the Voices from Our Sisters Exhibit at the City of Raleigh Museum. If you can't wait, well, you can get your tickets now here.

Everyone is welcome to come to the Voices from Our Sisters Exhibit Opening on September 2 at 6:00 p.m. at the City of Raleigh Museum. The opening night reception will be hosted by Friends of COR Museum as part of Downtown Raleigh’s First Fridays.

According to Ernest Dollar, Director of the COR Museum, "The exhibit will introduce visitors to Raleigh's Sister Cities through photographs, videos and artifacts. We are excited to bring visitors to the Museum face to face with their counterparts around the world through these video interviews.”

As part of the exhibit we would like to collect memories and reflections of those who have participated in Sister Cities exchanges. These will be shared within the exhibit as well as kept in the archives of Raleigh Sister Cities. Please send us an email if you would like to contribute.
With all of the exciting activity going on for our 30th Anniversary Year as a Sister City, it may have slipped your mind to renew your support for Raleigh Sister Cities. Now is the time to get that done (click here) or you can renew your support when purchasing your tickets for the 30th Anniversary Celebration or while at any of our other events.
Our Intrepid Travelers Are Back!
Some members of the Xiangyang Committee had a great time in Xiangyang, and even fit in a visit to another city. Fortunately, we have their notes and thoughts to kick off the new blog as well as some thoughts from previous travels to our sister cities (you can check it out here).

Several opportunities to volunteer are available:

Volunteer at the RSC booth at the First Annual International Block Party, Saturday, August 20 from 11 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at City Plaza, Downtown Raleigh. Volunteers would stay for an hour or two, and get to participate in a great new Raleigh event!

Homestay Volunteer Coordinator - Do you value international student exchanges? Do you enjoy forging bonds of friendship and learning between young people. Help us launch RSC’s own Homestay Student program for students from our Sister Cities.
