Raleigh Sister Cities : Fostering Global Citizens Since 1986

Thirty years ago Raleigh Sister Cities was founded to join other sister cities in a venture to promote and inspire relationships between cities around the world. This year, we are coming together to celebrate 30 years of success.

Part of our year-long celebration of 30 years includes a kick-off event at Mordecai Historic Park Visitor Center on January 19. During the celebration, attendees will have an opportunity to learn about upcoming events including a craft beer collaboration with visitors from Kingston upon Hull (UK), a Taste of Our Cities - Farm to Fork fundraiser, a visual arts exhibit featuring artists from Raleigh's sister cities, a City of Raleigh museum exhibit featuring residents of our sister cities titled 'Voices from Our Sisters' and learn about how to participate in travel exchanges with our sister cities groups.

During this casual and informational evening, you'll have an opportunity to celebrate and meet with our board members and supporters. Refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served, and will represent our sister cities.

RSVP via email or online.
