If you’ve ever scoured the internet for motivational quotes to hang on the walls of your cubicle, then it’s no surprise that most of what you’ll find is laced with words like passion, purpose, and drive. But where do you start, and how do you find that passion? Here are some thought-starters to help you on a journey to self-love.
 

Brainstorm and take inventory. What skills to you naturally excel at? Are there any talents that are underdeveloped? Think about moments when you’ve felt most proud—what were you doing?

Start a new hobby. Sounds simple, right? By exposing yourself to new experiences and opportunities, you’re maximizing your chances of finding your passion!
Join a like-minded networking group. Being surrounded by people who enjoy the same things that you do is so important. These groups and organizations are great places to foster your creativity and share your passion with others.
Tap into your inner child. As children, we often discover a passion at a young age and likely ignored it as an adult for something a little more practical. Ask your inner child a few questions; What did I want to be when I grew up? What are my happiest childhood memories?
Truthfully, finding your passion is all about trial and error. The more you try new things, the more likely you are to discover what you genuinely love to do! This month, challenge yourself to branch out and tap into your passion.

This month in the Pero Family Farms Kitchen, we shared our favorite “Big Game” snacks using our fresh, recipe-ready vegetables!

It is with a heavy heart that we grieve the loss of our co-workers who passed away unexpectedly on January 27^th, 2022, due to injuries sustained from a car accident.

They were part of our Pero family and worked on the Green Bean line at our Delray Beach, Florida facility.  In their remembrance and to support their family as they struggle with this unexpected loss and funeral expense, a donation GoFundMe page has been set up – Employee Memorial Fund.

January focused on Fundraising for the Susan G. Komen walk, newly renamed the More Than Pink walk. It was an opportunity to get all employees involved with various fundraising events like Bingo, a Silent Auction and a Pero Garage sale, to list a few. All Proceeds went to PINK and with everyone’s generosity Pero Family Farms exceeded our fundraising goal for this year!

As the number of hospitalizations decline to record levels in many states, the question now is how much longer will we have to wear masks in the work place? 
 
Effective immediately, all employees and visitors will be required to wear masks only in the food production areas and adjacent rooms.  The wearing of masks is not required in our offices.  Signs will be posted in the appropriate areas where masks must be worn.
 
While our face masks policy is changing, those who wish to continue wear a mask  in the office area may do so. 
 
We’ve come a long way since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Everyone is to be commended for their efforts under such difficulty these last two years. 
 
Please continue to be diligent with managing good personal hygiene practices at all times.  This includes frequent handwashing, maintaining a safe distance from others, avoid touching your mouth, nose and eyes, and if you feel sick and/or have a fever, immediately notify your supervisor and do not enter the building.
