The Rural Communities Explorer (RCE) is a website that provides public, online access to social, demographic, economic, and environmental information about Oregon’s counties and places and Siskiyou County, CA.

Communities Reporter 2.0 Launched!

We have transformed your access to data for communities in Oregon. In the new version you will be able to quickly find data you want. Locations and indicators can now be searched in an easy-to-use search field, and we have reorganized topics into broader categories. Data visualization is front and center in the new tool while still giving you the ability to access details in data tables. On the move? No problem! The new interface is optimized for mobile devices. Collections

Our collections contain indicators specially selected by the Rural Communities Explorer team and partners to represent key issues of concern to decision makers. In each collection you'll find a suite of social, economic, demographic, and sometimes environmental data tailored to the themes the RCE team and our partners identified.

Latinos in Oregon

The Latinos in Oregon collection, created in coordination with a report from the Oregon Community Foundation, tracks a set of 18 metrics about Latinos, compared to the total population in Oregon. Use these data to learn and inform others about the status of Latinos across the state.

Tracking Oregon's Progress

The TOP Indicators project tracks a key set of 89 metrics from 1990 on, across all counties in the state, and reflect state priorities as expressed in the Oregon Benchmarks and the 10-year Plan for Oregon.
