Sermon Text: James 5:7-11
Theme: The Practice of Patience 

Be patient, then brothers, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains. You too be patient and stand firm because the Lord’s coming is near. Don’t grumble against each other brothers, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door. Brothers, as an example of patience in the face of suffering take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered…

Ash Thursday

We will have our Ash Wednesday service on Thursday, March 7 at 7pm. This will kick-off our mid-week lenten services with the theme Three Words of Truth. 

Mid-Week Meals
We will also have our mid-week meals throughout Lent begging on March 7 with a soup and sandwich meal. We are asking for Mt. Olive groups, committees and families to help prepare the meals. Sign ups are posted on the bulletin board in the hallway. 

Blood Drive Monday, March 11

We will be hosting several blood drives at Mt. Olive this year. The next one will take place on the afternoon of Monday, March 11 from noon-5pm. We are looking for volunteers to help with check-in and in the canteen. If you are available and willing to help please let John Schoenwalder know.

We have extended a call to Pastor Peter Zaferos (ZAF-ris), who is currently serving at Living Shepherd in Laramie, WY. Saturday Savings

Join us Saturday, March 9 from 10-11am for Saturday Savings. Learn how to save money and have fun shopping! Easter Lilies

If you would like to purchase an Easter Lilly for our Easter service, please watch for order forms to be available soon. Orders will be due Thursday, March 28.

Soul Sisters Begins New Study in March

Our Soul Sisters group will meet on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at 6:30pm in the fellowship hall to being a new study following the book It’s Not Supposed to Be This Way by Lysa Terkeurst. All ladies are welcome to join.
