How to Produce Perfect Bullnose Units

Use oversized liners that fit into a notch on the division plates (see below) instead of using standard bullnose end liners. The oversized liners will eliminate the small score line which will create a smooth transition from the bullnose into the ends of the units.

Precast: Form Rollover Brake Adjustments

Torque the bottom two ¾” hex bolts to 45 ft lbs. 45 ft lbs is simply a starting point. You’ll find that different size forms and those with modifications, such as blockouts, will require either more or less torque to be applied.

After setting the torque, lift the form slowly to ensure torque is set properly. If the form wants to rollover prematurely, more torque may be required. If the form does not want to roll over, reduce the amount of torque applied.

As always, follow best safety practices.

About AAC
Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) is a green precast building material present in the global market for over 70 years. Produced in hundreds of plants around the world, AAC is extensively used in residential, commercial and industrial construction. AAC is an eco-friendly building material, made from natural raw materials such as sand (or fly-ash), cement, lime, gypsum, aluminum powder and water. This mix creates an aerated concrete providing insulation, structure and fire protection in one lightweight product. AAC provides a modular building system, named as Aircrete Building System, that consists of wall panels, floor/roof panels, lintels, cladding panels and AAC boards (see figure 01). Aircrete Building System simply reduces complexity, saves time and money.

Our Alliance
In 2016 Besser Company and Aircrete Europe became strategic alliance partners. The alliance was formed on the premise that our product lines are complimentary, and both compete directly with alternative building products. Since then, both partners have worked on several projects together and exhibited in many important industry exhibitions in the United States and globally. Leveraging our respective networks and support, engineering and production capabilities, the strategic alliance provides a great commercial proposition and opportunity to meet high-potential construction industry players, including developers, builders and other building materials manufacturers in the United States and abroad.
