A Greener Future

Monthly Newsletter - February 2017

The Litter Outside is Buried.

It may be the middle of winter and all the litter is buried but we still have lots to do over here in the office. On February 8th we'll be hosting our first Board Meeting of the year where we'll be making some important decisions about the year ahead.

We would LOVE your feedback on how we're doing. If there's something you would like us to feature in the newsletter drop us a line. If there's a project you'd like to suggest send us a message. If you have a burning question ask away! We want YOU to be part of our community. We want you to inspire us and we'll prove to you that we can take A Greener Future to the next level!

We've Received a LUSHious Gift!

LUSH Cosmetics has gifted us $2,000 to fund our litter cleanups for the year! This donation will go towards litter cleanup supplies, equipment, and promotion. Thank you LUSH! (Photo @ LUSH Markham, Ontario)

Searching for Coordinators

Tired of seeing butts all over the ground? Us too! Help us do something about it on May 6th. We have Butt Blitz event coordinators signed up in various locations across Canada but we're looking for more help! The job of a coordinator is to choose a local location, collect the butts picked up by volunteers, and ship them to TerraCycle via a prepaid shipping label. Click the button below for more information about this Canada-wide event and sign up as an event coordinator or participant!
