RRLC and New York Data Carpentries Library Consortium are collaborating to provide an engaging summer series of webinars focused on the role of data in libraries- from data-based decision making to the library as a community data steward. Foodlink Community Café comes to the Central Library! The Café launched in 2021 with a mission-driven, pay-what-you-can restaurant concept. It provides training opportunities for Foodlink’s culinary apprentices and delicious food for the public in downtown Rochester, regardless of their ability to pay. Guests are encouraged to pay the suggested price on the menu, pay what they are able, or pay a bit more to help cover the cost for those who can’t, and to support Foodlink’s mission.
