HEATONS CLIMATE ACTION FESTIVAL

The Heatons Climate Action Festival starts tomorrow at 1.30pm, with the opening ceremony.  Next is the Heatons Youth Climate Commission, when young Heatonians will quiz Andy Burnham about how he'll be helping the area achieve its clean green future ahead of the Greater Manchester Green Summit. He'll be joined on our panel by Cllr Colin Foster, writer and academic Sarah Bridle, and Youth MP Emma Greenwood.

The Commission is the first event of the Heatons Climate Action Festival - which aims to equip residents with the practical means to play their part in tackling the climate crisis. 12 free webinars over two weekends covering lots of the issues that challenge the survival of this planet.
