New GetThermal App
Inspired by the release of the new radiometric Lepton 2.5 and the desire to use Lepton on multiple platforms, our new GetThermal GUI App can command and control any FLIR Lepton LWIR core using a PureThermal 1 on MacOS & Linux. Boson support is underway - follow our GitHub repo to stay up to date.
What can we say, it’s nice to be noticed and starting in Jan ’17 you can get most of our custom electronics and accessories at MCM Electronics, a division of Premier Farnell. You can find the friendly and knowledgeable staff of MCM at Maker Faires all over - just look for the long lines at their booth of people wanting the best prices on hot hardware. MCM is a great new home for our custom products, developed with passion to enhance our backer experiences.
Bread Inc. is hard at work expanding their REPS platform to help you make smartphone and cloud-connected hardware prototypes at the speed of thought. Watch their new how-to video and check out their new campaigns. Expect to see some of our hardware integrated into REPS sometime in ’17.
We’ll be roaming CES again this year to look for next-gen modules and components to Get in 2017. Give us a shout out on Twitter if you’d like to meet and pitch your wares. Visit our fellow Santa Barbarian hacker’s booths, TrackR and Bread, who will be waving the flag for Silicon Riviera hardware.
