Book 33 — How to Win Friends & Influence People

There's a new poll where you can select the next four books:

Due to the pandemics, we've canceled the in-person meetings of the Book Club. Would you be interested in live online meetings? We'd use the tried formula we've been using so far and will translate the new medium.

If you'd like to participate, let us know in this forum topic.

Weeks 13 – 14

"How to Win Friends & Influence People" by Dale Carnegie

People skills are essential. The world is connected and it is very rare that a person can work on one’s own. Being a rocket science genius is not enough when you can’t communicate your ideas with others.

This classical book on the topic should be a good starting point to learn some people skills. Keep in mind it has been written almost 100 years ago and the world around us has changed a lot.

Weeks 15 – 16

"Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" by Robert M. Pirsig

One of the popular topics in this year's poll was Deep Thoughts. Robert Pirsig's book belongs to this category. It has been recommended a few times by the Book Club's members. This alone makes it an interesting read.

Do you have a recommendation for a book or a person we should add? Give us a shout in the forum:
