Book 49 — Make

Book Club Updates

We have just finished "A Short History of Nearly Everything" by Bill Bryson. How did you like it? Share your thoughts with us!

Weeks 45 – 46

"MAKE" by Pieter Levels

Pieter Levels is one of the best-known independent makers and digital nomads. He is a maker of NomadList, RemoteOK, and several other products.

In his book, he shares some of the tips for building a great product without needing to hire a team or secure investor's funding.

The book has an interesting feature. You can read it for free but it will get slowly scrambled as you progress. The way to unscramble the book? Pay for it! Great to see some creative thinking even in an industry as old as selling books!

Just 17 pages a day to finish it in 2 weeks 🙌

Weeks 47 – 48

"The Goal" by Eliyahu M. Goldratt

Business novels are curious things. They read like fiction literature but at the same time they educate the reader about some aspects of managing an enterprise."The Goal" is an example of this genre.

Will the protagonist save the company he works in and reclaim his personal life as well? That's what we're about to find out!

Just 26 pages (or 51 minutes for an audiobook) a day to finish it in 2 weeks 🙌
