Global Student Entrepreneur Awards Competition - Los Angeles
What: Los Angeles regional competition for students who own and operate a business while attending college or university.
About: You must be an undergraduate or graduate college/university student with a company operating for at least 6 months with at least $500 in generated revenue or $1,000 in investment to compete. The competition is a joint event for high school and college entrepreneurs through the Los Angeles and Orange County Entrepreneurs' Organization chapters and takes place on 1/29/22 at 10 am in Long Beach. Participants compete for mentorship and cash prizes of $2,000 (1st place), $1,000 (2nd place), and $500 (3rd place).

Annual UBS Jobs & Internships Fair
What: A recruitment-focused career fair that allows employers to showcase internship and full-time opportunities in various industries such as finance, consulting, entertainment, public relations, communications, accounting, sales, operations, marketing, human resources, etc.
About: The fair is open to all students at UCLA and typically attracts over 500 attendees from all majors and grade levels. It specifically caters to careers in business and is put on by the premier business organization at UCLA. Some companies that will be attending include KPMG, Oracle, UBS, Beghou Consulting, RPA, and more!

UCLA Anderson Technology Entrepreneurship Collaborative (UCLA ATEC)
What: A Pitching and Networking Event
About: Join a team of Executive MBA students in a 3-month long accelerator-model entrepreneurial venture! Participate in the creation of a business, become a pro at Bubble.io “no-code” software development, expand your professional network, and gain insight into how a business degree can help you reach your career goals.No technical experience is needed! Flexible time commitment: 2-4 hours per week, negotiable with EMBA students.

Fishbowl Challenge
What: A 6-month intensive venture-building program for young college entrepreneurs.
About: Participants will work with students across the globe to build tech-based social ventures that combat issues in these 5 critical areas: Agriculture, Economic Empowerment, Education Technology, Healthcare, and Renewable Energy & Sustainability. Teams will receive the direct support and mentorship of world-class senior-level industry leaders all through the program. Up to $50,000 in seed funding will be allocated across the winning ventures to work on their ideas.

Future Founders Startup Bootcamp
What: A free boot camp designed to help 18 to 30-year-olds turn ideas, passions, and side hustles into functioning businesses.
About: Participants gain access to workshops, mentorship, and resources covering topics ranging from customer discovery and finances to marketing, sales, and more. Startup Bootcamp kicks off in April 2022 and is open to any 18 to 30-year-olds who want to take their idea, hobby, or side hustle and turn it into a revenue-generating business.

CGI U 2022 and Verizon Forward for Good Challenge
What: CGI U is looking for higher education students, undergraduate or graduate, who are addressing pressing challenges in five focus areas: Education, Environment and Climate Change, Peace and Human Rights, Poverty Alleviation, and Public Health.
About: Students selected for CGI U’s programs will receive access to personalized mentorship, social impact programming, funding opportunities through CGI U partners, and student engagement events, including the CGI U 2022 virtual annual meeting hosted by President Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton.

DOE EnergyTech University Prize
What: A collegiate competition challenging multidisciplinary student teams to develop and present a business plan
About: Student teams will compete for a total of $250,000 in cash prizes as they explore business opportunities for lab-developed or other high-potential energy technologies, assess commercialization opportunities through market analysis, and present a viable business plan to industry judges. Throughout the competition, you will receive mentorship and materials to help them succeed.

TCU 2022 Values and Ventures Competition
What: The nation’s premier undergraduate business competitions.
About: The competition boasts distinguished judges and mentors from among seasoned entrepreneurs, investment professionals, CEO’s and others. Throughout the two-day event, students will have opportunities to network with other like-minded students, faculty from across the globe and successful entrepreneurs and business professionals. Ventures submitted for the Values and Ventures® competition must be for-profit, values-centered enterprises.

VentureWell's E-Team Grant Program
What: Supports student-led science- and engineering-based teams in bringing their high-impact innovation out of the lab and into the market.
About: Every year, they award over $700,000 in non-dilutive E-Team grants to early-stage innovator teams who are developing scalable innovations that aim to solve a large social, health, or environmental challenge. Their 380+ alumni ventures have received over $470M in follow-on funding since taking part in the E-Team program.

Agnostic Startup Accelerator
What: 14-week remote-first program is intended to achieve maximum acceleration for your company, industry, and growth-stage/needs.
About: The Long Beach Accelerator has graduated 12 cohort companies, 25% of which have received acquisition offers, and collectively raised over $4.5M in capital and earned over $1M in revenue since February 2021. Each month of the program startups will work on a specific component of the business with expert instructors, mentors, and other resources. Digital resource package worth approximately $500,000 and include services such as Amazon Web Services, Airtable, Stripe, Zoom, and many more.

UC Davis Big Bang! Business Competition
What: Business competition featuring educational workshops and a cash prize competition, and will also help you grow as an entrepreneur and as a leader.
About: You will find opportunities to connect with fellow innovators, learn and apply business concepts in interactive educational workshops, build your team, grow your network—and compete for cash prizes. The competition will award more than $100,000 in prize money and in-kind prizes. Big Bang! runs November through May. The competition is designed for aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs with at least one founder affiliated with an institution of higher education within the State of California.
