The UC Founder Survey will allow the University of California Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E) team to learn more about our systemwide founder community. This 5-minute survey is designed to collect demographic data on founding teams currently participating in UC-affiliated innovation and entrepreneurship activities. The collection of this data will have a direct impact on UC's ability to fundraise, develop programs, and better support the UC founder community.

In this LaunchPad Fellowship, up to 50 student founders will be awarded $5,000 in non-dilutive grant funding to support their time working on advancing technology ventures. The Fellowship is largely self-driven, but will include weekly skill-development workshops, goal setting, and peer and professional networking opportunities, as well as reporting requirements and regular check-ins with their LaunchPad campus Director. The Fellowship is open to all current students (graduate and undergraduate) of LaunchPad network schools as well as 2020 or 2021 graduates.

We are an organization that endeavors to enhance financial literacy in our youth by teaching high school seniors from under-served communities about the world of investing (stocks, bonds, ETFs, REITs, etc), loans, interest rates, APRs, insurance, financial aid, and much more! Whether you have zero or vast experience in finance, our only required skill is that our members are passionate. We will provide you with the necessary skills to build on your knowledge of finance and prepare you to help mentor students. Startup UCLA Social Entrepreneurship Summer Institute
What: Remote summer program for rising high school juniors and seniors from July 12th to July 23rd
About: This hands-on summer program will teach students the basics of creating a mission-oriented venture and allow them to apply that knowledge by creating their own ventures, which they will pitch to a panel of entrepreneurs and investors for feedback. Participants will be awarded 2 units of college credit upon successful completion of the program. Financial aid is available.

3DS (3 Day Startup)
About: 3DS at UCLA is a free 3-day boot camp that guides students through the essential steps of founding a start-up company from scratch. From ideation, team formation, market research to rapid prototyping and final pitch, participants directly apply theoretical knowledge to come up with a sustainable business model. 3DS is open to grad and undergrad students of all years, majors, and experience levels. Acceptances would be made on a rolling basis. Please apply ASAP to increase your chances of participating.

What: Training program of the NSF I-Corps at UCLA

2021 Rosenman Innovators Program
What: Innovation program for early-stage (up to and including Series A investment) healthtech startups
About: Entrepreneurs in health technology have a great opportunity to distinguish their company and connect to investors and industry partners. The annual Rosenman Innovator program, based at UCSF Mission Bay, is calling for applications to the 2021 cycle. Ten companies will be selected from across California. Finalists get coaching in communications, product development, IP, clinical/regulatory, reimbursement, marketing and business strategy; pitch to a large group of accredited investors; and win services tailored to their needs.

UCLA Anderson Impact Week 2021
What: Conference centering around the "Power to Change"
About: UCLA Anderson’s Impact Week celebrates our community’s commitment to creating a more equitable, just, and sustainable society. With a theme of “Power to Change,” Impact Week 2021 will spotlight ideas, practices, and skills that business leaders need to change their organizations and industries in support of social justice, economic inclusion, environmental sustainability, quality healthcare, educational equity, and other important global goals. Speakers for this conference include Congresswoman Nanette Diaz Barragán and Emma Stewart, Sustainability Officer at Netflix, among others.

Grid 110 Summer 2021 Cohort Applications
What: Free 12-week residency program
About: This is a three-month program designed to help entrepreneurs at the earliest stages of their ventures focus on the fundamental parts of building a successful, sustainable business. We’re looking for entrepreneurs that have moved past the initial idea stage and identify in (or in-between) the early validation stage or the post-launch stage looking to accelerate to the next stage of growth. This cohort-based program will connect founders with mentorship and skills development workshops from experts, among other benefits.
