Our Solutions
Thank you, Calsense Team!
Many of our internal team members are working in the office to make sure product is assembled and shipped on time to our customers. We have implemented several measures such as a no-touch, no-contact policy for all deliveries and shipments to minimize exposure to outside influences. We are working hard to ensure that those who must physically be in the office are staying safe and healthy.
A message from our Director of Operations:

“I am so incredibly proud of this team.  Never have I seen a team that operates with such respect, camaraderie, and perseverance.  Things that typically take longer to achieve, such as cross-training or responding to another department’s needs, have been instant and effective. Each member of the group has performed not only their own position with a great deal of competence, but they all have pivoted into different roles to ensure quality product is shipped to our customers. The team has even come up with continuous improvement solutions in the process as they look for opportunities to increase efficiency.

We have seized the opportunity to test and improve our BCP (Business Continuity Plan), as well as work together as a team to make decisions for the company based on incomplete information that is presented to us during the crisis.

We have implemented inclusion at an unprecedented level in the company's history as we navigate this difficult time. Since we are a team, everyone should be aware of what is going on at the company and what can be done to facilitate the best outcome. The intent is to connect the cross functional teams with each other, so the groups feel they have a voice. The team’s input has been incredibly valuable as we forage through the next round of decisions and planning.

I am so excited to see our company arise from the pandemic as a stronger, more efficient, and even more effective team as we set the stage for growth upon recovery.”

Now that irrigation management has improved via the internet and mobile use, the industry is keeping up with the digital age and proving to be a valuable tool in water conservation, as well as time management. Calsense President, A.J. van de Ven speaks to the benefits of wireless technology in an article from the current issue of Green Industry Magazine. Read the full article here.

Controller Feature of the Month

We all know how important it is to keep track of your water usage. In some areas of our country, the water department will triple the cost of your water if you use too much, or you may be fined if you break local drought mandates. Being efficient with water use is easy to do with the CS3000 controller. Check out how it works here.
