From Fr Michael

On Sunday we begin the greatest week in the Christian calendar, Holy Week. Starting with Palm Sunday we accompany the Lord through his Passion, Death and Resurrection.  I invite you to join us, as best as you are able, given the circumstances.  It is through these celebrations that we enter into the heart of the central mysteries of our faith.

Monday of this week there will be an opportunity to celebrate Confession before the Triduum begins.  There will be two visiting priests assisting.  Holy Mass at 7.00 p.m. (with an examination of conscience) and Confessions from 7.30 p.m.

We are not operating a booking system for any of the liturgies.  Once we have reached our safe capacity, we will invite you to join online or attend another celebration.  You can imagine which celebrations will be most popular so do consider attending some of the devotional liturgies such as the Office of Readings and Morning Prayer or Stations of the Cross.

On Easter Sunday there will be Holy Mass at 9.30 a.m. and 11.00 a.m.  There will be no evening Mass on Easter Sunday.

With every blessing for a fruitful and blessed Holy Week,

Fr Michael

Getting More from Scripture

Praying with the Word of God is much more than listening to readings at Holy Mass on Sunday.

Download the readings for use at Holy Mass, and use them for prayer during the week.
PLEASE NOTE:
There is no booking or reservation required for Holy Week liturgies.  All are welcome.  Once we have reached our capacity, we our Hospitality Team will invite you to watch online, or attend another liturgy.  Apologies for any inconvenience.  Our liturgies are in accordance with current guidelines.

This week, we pray for:

Parish Notices

Flowers for Easter
We are asking for donations of yellow and white flowers to fill our church for Easter!  So long as they are yellow and white in colour, they can be as simple or as exotic as you can find!

There will be buckets of water for flower donations outside church from Maunday Thursday evening.
Easter Offering

The collection on Easter Sunday is the traditional offering for the Parish Priest.  As we are encouraging the whole parish to become a little more cashless, there is now an option to make your Easter Offering online, or using Tap and Go. Please note: no Gift Aid will be collected on this.

Track and Trace Stickers!
Help us speed up track and trace by signing up to get a sheet of 65 little stickers with your name and phone number on.

All we ask for is a donation to cover printing and the cost of the labels. Click here to order.
