EARTH'S MOTION

A few weeks ago I headed out on one of the first warm days of spring to photograph the night sky. I set my camera up facing the north celestial pole and captured the sky over a 3 hour period. This is the result of stacking those images on top of each other. It's amazing to see how the Earth turns on its axis and puts into perspective that we are in motion, not the stars.
