ALL MEMBERS are invited to Join us in the fun that is the HBYC Working Bee & BBQ Fun Day...  It’s that time of year again to come on down a help clean the club up in time for the new sailing Season. 

There are plenty of jobs for one and all, so please contribute to help make Hobbo’s great. Don’t forget Boatowners it counts towards pen points.

Bring the whole family, we’ll have a BBQ and it’s a great chance to meet other members. Day includes; Morning tea/coffee and bickies, BBQ lunch of snags/bread/beer for the lads, Fine food sandwiches and champers for the ladies, Soft drinks/face painting & lollies for the kids, Sign-in raffle & door prizes (more club ties), Raffles for the Juniors, Trash and Treasure swap table, Locker clean out & dump opportunity and best of all Meet, talk & tell sailing lies to your fellow members & have a good day.

First there was Tevake II, now Ikon...
Angus Fletcher's TEVAKE II success at Airlie Beach Race Week...  They took Lines Honours in Cruising Division 2 in all 6 Races 6, yes that is 6 bullets from 6 races.
Well done Angus, Garry, Sam, Rod and Ash!

 

Following on from Tevake II's win, the club is represented at Hamilton Island race week (http://www.hamiltonislandraceweek.com.au/) by Ikon. Bruce and crew are competing in the Australian Yachting Championships - IRC. Go Team Ikon...  First Race... 1st!
