It takes a system to save a life

The theme of EMS2017 is: It takes a system to save a life. Though it may be individuals who perform CPR, attach and use the defibrillator or even administer medications and advanced medical interventions, it is a system that makes it all possible. Cooperation between the dispatch center, the ambulance services and the emergency departments is essential in saving life. Lives are saved not just by highly trained EMS professionals, but by highly efficient EMS systems.

Through dialogue, innovation, involvement and a creative approach, EMS2017 will provide the latest knowledge, showcase the newest equipment and demonstrate best practices in the area of emergency care – from the citizen’s emergency call, to pre-hospital care and all the way to definitive care including the emergency departments.

During EMS2017 you will we be able to challenge yourself and your team of EMS colleagues in the competition: European EMS Championship. All interested teams must send a short application no later than 15 January 2017.

Call for abstracts

Share your research findings and submit your abstracts for presentation at EMS2017. Accepted abstracts will be presented as a poster and published.
The submission will close on the 15 January 2017.

Participants interested in proposing and organizing a workshop is invited to submit an outline. Highly interactive workshops will be given priority.

The submission will close on the 8 January 2017.
