EMS Championship - Let the games begin

During the European EMS2016 Congress you will we be able to challenge yourself and your team of EMS colleagues during the competition European EMS Championship.

EMS Championship will be a fun, challenging and educational experience for emergency medical personnel. The competition will be all about team work, skills, experience and the ability to find a solution when challenged.

The European EMS Championship is organized by Copenhagen Academy for Medical Education and Simulation (CAMES), previously called Danish Institute of Medical Simulation, and EMS Copenhagen and supported by Laerdal Medical and Falck Emergency.

HRH Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, patron of EMS2016

We are honored to be able to announce that Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark has accepted to be patron of EMS2016, the first European Emergency Medical Services Congress.

The Crown Princess is among other patron of a number of national health care organizations, and has contributed to raising awareness about health care issues in Denmark and internationally.

The support from Her Royal Highness is a great recognition of the service and care provided by emergency medical services.

Keynote speaker Pierre Carli: Paris November 2015

Terrorism can occur anywhere. Therefore it is important that we learn from each other - so we as health care professionals can prepare for major incidents and handle these to the best professional standards.

At EMS2016, keynote speaker professor Pierre Carli, head of SAMU in Paris, will reflect on the management of the Paris terrorist attacks in November 2015. At the keynote session he will share his experiences with you; what are the lessons learned? And how can you be prepared for such a violent and unexpected situation?
